Lords of Vestur and Brir

As stories go, this one may sound oddly familiar, though with a twist...

Two courting families, Bristol of Vestur and Wickham of Brir have been at it for years, disputing heavily over the hundred or so acres that divides their towns. Tensions, currently, are at an all-time peak, and neither looks anywhere near prepared to step down.

Communication has all but ceased to either of the two villages, both amongst each other, and with other cities, as the lords' tempers peak.

Though, despite their outstanding differences, affection has blossomed between the opposing parties as the Lord Bristol's only son has fallen for the Lord Wickham's daughter. The forbidden relationship has been kept a secret, but it is becoming increasingly difficult for the two love-birds to keep in contact.

To add to the increasing tension, Lord Bristol's son is having second thoughts about having the throne handed down to him. His parent's increased hatred with the Wickham family has caused him to threaten to leave home.
